sunday blues

Since I haven't taken many pictures recently I thought I would do a little throwback to this shoot I did with Ana in Greektown this past fall. I really liked this look because it was so casual but also comfortable. And I loved the colors. The baby blue sweater paired with a grey turtleneck and light blue jeans rolled at the bottom with grey socks peeping out. It was such a simple palette but I love it. And since a lot of Sunday's have been gloomy this winter, I thought this fit well.

Gloomy Sunday's tend to put us in a blues type of mood- aka in our feelings. It's a time to think and reflect, maybe about how you made some bad decisions the previous night? Or maybe about life in general and where you're going. I know personally it's taken a lot of time and effort to stop myself from breaking down at the thought of my future- or lack thereof- every other day. It's easy to stress about finding a job, where you'll live, will you ever meet someone, will the world still be around 10 years from now. All jokes aside, it's not exactly the best way to live; in a constant state of worry. You just have to learn to accept and realize that every thing that happens to you happens for a reason. There's no way of knowing what the future holds, as cheesy and cliche as all of these things sound.

Sorry if I brought you down by reading this, but just remember to stay calm and maybe have a little pampering night to get your mind off of things. And if that doesn't help just think about my favorite quote ever- "This too shall pass".

How amazing was the sky this day??

As you can see I look dead inside... it may have had to do school overload.
